Alleged hauntings in this section are categorised and outlined very briefly.

 

Pinehurst Community CentreCommunity Centre, Pinehurst

Due to be investigated by PSI in 2007.

Centre volunteers have reported figures being seen, objects being moved around, mists being seen, scratches appearing on people and strange footage on CCTV.

In 1978 firemen report mysterious footprints and lights switching themselves on and off.  Reports of activity at the fire station go back to the 1960s.

Melksham Close, Penhill

A house on this street reported several violent poltergeist instances over the course of the 1980s.  These include furniture being moved and flung around, and the feeling of being touched.

At least one couple were rehoused by the council; leading local residents to be suspicious of the alleged haunting.

Pinehurst Peoples' CentrePeoples' Centre, Pinehurst

Due to be investigated by PSI in 2007.

Centre staff and volunteers have reported an old woman who roams the corridors and Scrapstore.  Scrapstore has also reported a malevolent presence and objects being moved around.

Poplar Avenue, Pinehurst

In the early 1960s a witness saw a man walking down the avenue, apparently six inches from the ground.  It transpired that the man and his mother had committed suicide some time earlier.

Thatched Cottage, Ermine Street

In the 1930s a female cyclist caught in a storm took cover in a thatched cottage along this road, warming herself by an open fire with an old grey haired man for company. She later discovered that the cottage had been overgrown and dilapidated since the previous century

Undisclosed School, Stratton

Former pupils have reported seeing out of place figures and there is a school rumour of a ghost that haunts the main hall and caretakers' house.
