In the early hours of
the morning baby cries have been heard from inside
the private residence, and objects in the kitchen
have come loose and broken with no apparent cause.

In the late 1990s
residents reported sleep paralysis and the figure of
an apparent Roman soldier.

Between 2004-6 a
'spirit' named Edna Cabbe apparently visited a
private residence on this street, "throwing toys
around and manifesting over a fire place."

House, West Swindon
Legend has it that the
house is haunted by Sir John St John, whose family
owned the estates for two centuries. More modern
accounts report a a gentleman walking the grounds.

Cow pub, Coate
In 2007 staff of the pub
have reported flickering lights, the feeling of
being watched and a presence felt late at night that
makes people feel they need to flee the pub.
